Here is a description of my several careers. Since graduating high school in 1989, I have worked as an auto mechanic, and an aerospace engineer. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Engineering and am currently studying for a second degree in Computer Science.

Automotive Technician (1993 - 2007)

January, 1993 to August, 2007
Worked directly with factory engineers and technical specialists to develop fault-tracing guidelines for diagnosis of engine performance and computer control systems failures.
Working shop foreman, responsible for training apprentice technicians and developing shop procedures. Communicated directly with management, customers, and factory representatives in efforts to gain information, resolve conflicts, and clearly explain the nature of work performed.
Winner of the 2004 Volvo International Service Training Award. Recognized by the factory as being in the top one percent of Volvo technicians worldwide for diagnostic ability.

Aircraft Structural Engineer (2010 - Present)

Stress Analyst, VC-25B / Presential Aircraft Recapitalization
Stress Analyst, Design Support. 777-9 Empennage. Responsible for sizing and analysis of Rudder and Elevator composite laminate and honeycomb skin panels for ultimate loads, failsafe conditions, and discrete events using finite element models (FEM) and hand methods as a part of new product development.
787-8/-9 Fuselage Section 43. Performed complete stress analysis package for Broadband Antenna adapter plate including stress analysis and collaboration with groups across multiple disciplines, resulting in on-time release of parts and strength check notes.
787-9 Fuselage Section 44/46. Oversight of partners Alenia and Boeing Russia (BRI) work packages to ensure complete analysis, product quality, and on-time delivery, resulting in schedule recovery and on-time release of vertical panel strength check notes.
787-8 Empennage. Supported 787-8 Type Certification release document for Empennage damage tolerance, resulting in FAA approval. Supported 787 Empennage sustaining group for fleet support.
CH-47 Chinook. Provide design support for 3D printed tooling of systems attachment points using Catia and Teamcenter software.
E-8 Joint STARS. Support of widespread fatigue damage assessment for 707 derivative wing structure using limited teardown data and accepted statistical methods.

Computer Science (2021 - 2023)

Fall, 2020 to Spring, 2023 (est)
Entered the Oregeon State University Online Postbaccalaureate program for Computer Science.
To date, completed classes in Discrete Mathematics, introduction to Computer Science (1 & 2), Data Structures and Web Development.
Planned classes in Assembly Language, Algorithms, and Operating Systems in the upcoming quarters with electives in Parallel Programming, Computer Networks, and Mobile Software Development.
Planned graduation in spring of 2023.
